AWOLNATION Announce North American Tour

As AWOLNATION close in on the March 17 release date of their hotly anticipated sophomore album, awolnation-s-aaron-brunoRun, the band has confirmed the details of a North American headlining tour. Highlights include appearances at SXSW, Bonnaroo and Kaaboo Music Festival.

Run is the follow-up to AWOLNATION’s Megalithic Symphony, the album which featured the monster of a single, “Sail.” That track spent an impressive 79 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Thus far, AWOLNATION has premiered two songs from Run: “Hollow Moon (Bad Wolf)” and “Windows.”

“More than anything, I’m excited to have the artistic freedom and opportunity to make a sophomore record,” confided AWOLNATION leader Aaron Bruno in a backstage conversation with Riffyou.com in September. “Everybody dreads the sophomore slump, whereas I am embracing it and can’t wait to either go down in flames, or take it to another level. It’s not going to be in the middle – it’ll be one way or the other. That’s how it has to be.”
