Brandon Flowers Performs “Bizarre Love Triangle” with New Order Member

On Sunday night at the Manchester Academy, Brandon Flowers recalled the vivid memory he still has of growing up in suburban Utah and witnessing New Order on MTV.

While story time was nice, what was even better was when Flowers welcomed out New Order member Bernard Sumner for an inspired rendition of “Bizarre Love Triangle.”

Flowers, who is touring in support of his well-received new solo album The Desired Effect, has been reportedly connected to the forthcoming New Order album that’s due out this fall. It is unclear, however, how much of a role on the album he’ll have.
