During a recent interview with Pulse of dave-grohl-nmeRadio, Dave Grohl was asked about the controversial documentary, Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck.

As Blabbermouth reports, the Foo Fighters frontman was “terrified” about watching the movie that captured the life of his former Nirvana bandmate and friend.

Grohl explained: “All the footage of him as a child, I think that might make me sad, and then the dark stuff at the end I think would bum me out.”

Grohl went on to note that he watched about 10 minutes of Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck, before calling it a night so that he could be up early the next day for his kids.

As previously reported, Grohl was interviewed the film, but since that occurred so late into the process, his footage wasn’t used in the final cut.

Recently, Riffyou.com spoke with Melvins leader Buzz Osborne regarding his criticism of the documentary.
