Eddie Vedder Parties with Chicago Cubs After Playoff Win

Last night in Pittsburgh, the Chicago Cubs defeated the Pirates in the Major League Baseball (MLB) National League Wild Card game to move onto the National League Division Series. Even though it was a road game for the Cubbies, the stadium was filled with many of the team’s supporters, including none other than Pearl Jam‘s Eddie Vedder.

Vedder, who was sitting in the stands during the game, eventually made his way into the Cubs’ locker room and partied with the team.

The Cubs haven’t won a World Series since 1908. With Vedder being at the game last night and the Cubs winning (convincingly), perhaps the rocker should stick with the team as a good luck charm? Ballplayers are quite superstitious, after all.
