Over the years, millions upon millions of viewers have flocked to YouTube to watch the likes of Emma Stone and Joseph Gordon-Levitt duke it out with now Tonight Show host, Jimmy Fallon, in the ‘Lip Sync Battle’ segment.

Now, the hugely popular after-bedtime phenomena is being spun off into a TV show that’ll premiere on Thursday, April 2, 2015 on Spike TV. Jimmy Fallon (and his Eight Million Miles Plus Productions), along with John Krasinski (The Office), Stephen Merchant (Hello Ladies, Extras), and Matador (Banksy Does New York), have teamed to develop a new half-hour series that’ll pit celebrities against each other in all out lip-syncing warfare.

“Lip Sync Battling is one of the coolest things happening in pop culture right now and already has a huge fan base thanks to the amazing talent involved,” says Casey Patterson, Executive Vice President, Talent Development and Production, Viacom Entertainment Group. “We’re thrilled to be in business with producers as talented as Jimmy, John and Stephen as Spike broadens its programming in new and exciting ways.”

While Fallon, Krasinki, and Merchant are already slated to appear on Lip Sync Battle, details regarding who will host the show – and which other celebrities will appear on it – will be revealed in the coming weeks.
