After accidentally on purpose revealing that Ultraviolence, her much-talked about follow-up to 2012’s Born to Die, is due out on lana-del-rey-smallMay 1, Lana Del Rey has announced a 16-date North American tour. The festivities kick off on April 23 in Texas and come to a close May 27 in Seattle.

Along the way, Del Rey will make three Canadian appearances: May 5 at the Bell Centre in Montreal; May 13 at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto; and May 25 at the PNE Amphitheatre in Vancouver. Most shows go on sale Friday, but Montreal is one that’ll be up for grabs on Saturday.

In February, the not-so-traditional pop vocalist posted a photo on Twitter of her and Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, overtly suggesting that he’s working with her on Ultraviolence at his Easy Eye Studio in Nashville, TN.

Of the new album, Del Rey has said that, “It’s so good that it made me forget about the last record. I’m in love with it. I have that romantic feeling about it.”
