Rock in Rio USA Get Metallica, Linkin Park, and Rise Against
Rock in Rio USA is poised to takeover Las Vegas in May, with a pair of weekends dedicated to rock and 
pop fans.
On the Rock Weekend (May 8-9), Metallica, No Doubt, Linkin Park, Rise Against, Deftones, Foster the People, Gary Clark Jr., Sepultura, Coheed & Cambria, and Of Mice and Men, will serve as the main draws.
Meanwhile, the Pop Weekend (May 15-16), will feature the likes of Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, and Sam Smith.
The festival will be held at City of Rock, a 33-acre, 80,000 person capacity, open air music and arts setting that sounds as big as everything else in Las Vegas typically looks. It’ll have six stages (including ones designated for indie and EDM enthusiasts) and be surrounded by streets that feature the cultural tastes of Brazil, the UK, and America.
How do you get there? Once on ‘the strip,’ look for the Circus Circus hotel and casino – it’ll be hard to miss from there.
General Admission Weekend tickets are available January 20 for $298.
