The Tea Party Celebrating 20 Years of “The Edges of Twilight”
Canadian rock trio, The Tea Party, will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its third album, The Edges of
Twilight with special reissues and tour. Featuring memorable singles like “Sister Awake,” “The Bazaar” and “Fire in the Head,” The Edges of Twilight went double-platinum and was nominated for a pair of JUNO Awards.
On September 4, fans of The Tea Party will be able to nab The Edges of Twilight in deluxe CD and digital packages, both of which include bonus material like alternative, live, radio sessions and bonus audio. Meanwhile, the vinyl edition will span two, 180-gram pieces of wax and be housed in a gatefold sleeve.
The fully remastered album can be pre-ordered on double-CD or vinyl right now.
Says frontman Jeff Martin of the album: “People often ask me ‘what does The Edges of Twilight mean to me as a musician?’ My answer, although not so simple, is simply this: it was the crystallization and the manifestation of an incredible musical vision between the three of us, and the fact that it was achieved in such a way was probably, and is still, one of the proudest musical achievements of my life.”
In support of this reissue, The Tea Party will embark on a month-long tour that’ll see the band play The Edges of Twilight from top to bottom. Tickets will go on sale Friday, June 26.
