Watch PUP Cover “Sabotage” by Beastie Boys in Chicago

If you’ve ever seen Toronto punk rockers PUP in concert before, you know that it’s only a matter of time before utter mayhem ensues. What can we say? They bring out the overly-caffeinated, angst-ridden teen in all of us.

Over the weekend at Schuba’s Tavern in Chicago, the band was filmed as they bashed out their über-aggressive version of classic Beastie Boys track, “Sabotage.” (If you were to ask PUP, though, they’d tell you it’s a cover of Cancer Bats’ cover of “Sabotage.”)

The audio quality isn’t clean, mainly because the footage is being shot right beside a speaker. Nonetheless, this should give you another reason to hop aboard the filling PUP bandwagon.

On January 28, the band will begin a run of dates across Australia, before heading to the US in March for a series of shows with The Get Up Kids.
