Frank Turner Releasing “Positive Songs for Negative People”
British folk rocker Frank Turner has confirmed that his next album, Positive Songs for Negative People, will be released on August 7. That said, it can be pre-ordered right now.
To get audiences excited, Turner has put out a video for the album’s lead single, “The Next Storm.” In the clip, Turner dukes it out with former WWE star and current mixed martial arts fighter, CM Punk. For the most part, he doesn’t fare too well.
“I’m very happy with it. It’s louder, more direct, more (dare I say it) punk rock than previous efforts,” said Turner of the album in an interview with Riffyou.com in February. “It’s a defiant, upbeat record about survival. Something like that.”
