Bonnaroo-Affiliated WayHome Festival Annnounces Lineup
Canadians will get a taste of their very own version of Bonnaroo this summer with the WayHome Festival, a three-day music and arts event organized by Republic Live and AC Entertainment, the same folks that put on the massive Tennessee festival.
Running from July 24-26 in Oro-Medonte, Ontario (near Barrie, North of Toronto) at Burl’s Creek Event Grounds, the WayHome will be headlined by newly crowned Grammy Award-winner Sam Smith, along with Kendrick Lamar and Alt-J.
Additional heavyweight acts include Modest Mouse, The Decemberists, St. Vincent, Hozier, Run the Jewels, The Gaslight Anthem, Passion Pit, Cold War Kids, and Future Islands.
A strong Canadian contingent of performers have also made it on the bill: The Sheepdogs, Hey Rosetta!, July Talk, Fucked Up, Alvvays, Sloan, The Rural Alberta Advantage, and more.
Tickets go on sale on Monday, February 16 at 12pm EST. Pricing ranges from $209.99 and up. And yes, there is camping on the site.
