She & Him Giving Fans a Digital Stocking Stuffer

The Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward led She & Him will release The Capitol Studios Session, a digital only release of four tracks that originally appeared on the band’s 2013 album, Volume 3. Based on the digital EP’s title, it’s easy to figure out where these songs were re-recorded.

Due out December 2, the album consists of “I Could’ve Been Your Girl,” “Shadow of Love,” “Snow Queen,” and “Turn to White.” She & Him’s label, Merge Records, says that the updated versions of these songs have “looser arrangements characteristic of the band’s live performances.”

Audio samples weren’t available at the time of this writing, but The Capitol Studios Session can be pre-ordered now from iTunes for $3.96. Meanwhile, Volume 3 and A Very She & Him Christmas can be snapped up now through Merge Records holiday store.
