What Happened During Obama & Vedder’s Hawaii Hang?
During the backend of his Hawaiian vacation, US President Barack Obama, took his daughters Sasha and Malia to the Kailua 
home of Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder. According to a report by the Associated Press, the visit lasted less than half an hour.
Vedder, who is described by The White House as a friend of the Obamas, helped raise $1.7 million for the President’s 2012 re-election campaign.
What we don’t know, however, is the nature of the visit.
Did Obama drop by with a Fender in-hand looking to learn the chords for “Even Flow”? Did he inquire about Pearl Jam’s need for a pair of young, female backing vocalists? Or, did he come in a wetsuit with a surfboard, but have to leave early because the waves were too calm to ride?
Who knows, maybe Obama just did a quick vocal track for a forthcoming Eddie Vedder solo album. The Commander-in-Chief has been known to carry a tune:
