Listen to Jack White Diss Rolling Stone, Foo Fighters

During a performance last night at Fenway Park in Boston, Jack White had a few things on his mind, most of which the issues he jack-white-2014has with Rolling Stone magazine. Fortunately for all of our enjoyment, audio evidence has surfaced.

Between songs, White took aim at the publication over how it goes about its business, including digs related to Taylor Swift coverage, the Kardashian family, and suggesting that Rolling Stone will only run a black and white cover of you if you’re dead. He even took a few moments to suggest that Foo Fighters have a third guitarist to cover up mistakes by someone else in the band.

In just over three-and-a-half minutes, White likely made a few new enemies, but a lot more friends as the fans can be heard eating up his speech.

“I’m officially supposed to stop now because this is becoming a Kanye West-esque rant for Rollingstone.com,” concluded White. “Because apparently, nowadays, you aren’t allowed to speak to your own fans about anything, lest it be a rant. So forget ISIS, forget the war in the Middle East, forget any problems at home, forget gay marriage, forget everything you ever thought about everything. This not a rant. This is just me saying, hello Cleveland!”
