Sleater-Kinney Streaming First Album in 10 Years

Share

Just three months ago, it was revealed that Washington rock trio, Sleater-Kinney, would return with their first new album in 10 years.

While you can’t purchase No Cities to Love until January 20, the band – Corin Tucker, Carrie Brownstein, and Janet Weiss – have given the folks at NPR the privilege of streaming it for all of us.

The album was recorded secretly last year at San Francisco’s Tiny Telephone Recordings, as well as Kung Fu Bakery Recording Studios in Portland, and Electrokitty Recording in Seattle. It’ll be released through Sub Pop Records.

Beginning in February, Sleater-Kinney will embark on a North American tour.
