Smashing Pumpkins Announce ‘In Plainsong’ Tour
After a series of successful acoustic shows in 2015, Billy Corgan is taking Smashing Pumpkins back on the road for the stripped-down ‘In Plainsong’ tour. He will be accompanied by bandmates Jimmy Chamberlin and Jeff Shroeder.
The 19-city tour will begin in Portland on March 22, before wrapping on April 20 in Houston. Liz Phair will serve as the opening act for the jaunt.
A press release regarding the tour also reported that a new Smashing Pumpkins album will soon be available. However, no further details were provided.
