Watch Jack White’s “World’s Fastest Record” Documentary

Over the weekend, Jack White took the stage at his Third Man Records headquarters in Nashville, TN, with one not so simple goal in mind: to record the “World’s Fastest Record.” In just 3:55:21 the prolific rocker completed his mission. That’s right, he performed, pressed and released a two-song 7” in less time than it takes to drive from Toronto to Montreal. Hell, even the album sleeve features photos from the day.

Now just a handful of days removed from this momentous occasion, a documentary chronicling White’s Record Store Day 2014 triumph has surfaced online. In it, you’ll see everything from White’s performance of the forthcoming single “Lazaretto,” footage of the motorcade travelling to and from United Record Pressing, and the moment in which the man behind the magic is handed the first completed album.

The doc runs 11 minutes, with White’s performance kicking in at the two minute mark. Enjoy!
