The Associated Press is reporting that the death toll from Goodbye to Gravity’s October 30 concert in Romania has climbed to 46. It’s also been confirmed that the band’s drummer, Bogdan Enache, succumbed to his injuries. He’s the third member of Goodbye to Gravity to pass away as a result of this nightmarish event.

Last week, we learned that Costin Mincu, Alin George Anastasescu and Paul Gancea – owners of Colectiv, the concert club in which this tragedy occurred – had been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter. Additionally, Victor Ponta resigned as Prime Minister of Romania and removed the rest of his party from office.

“I am obliged to take note of the legitimate grievances which exist in society,” said Ponta at the time of his resignation. “I hope handing in my and my government’s mandate will satisfy the demands of protesters.”

Meanwhile, Romanian residents continue to protest, claiming that corruption led to Colectiv being able to operate without having the proper safety measures in place.
