Hawthorne Heights Get Stripped Down for Canadian Tour

Ohio post-hardcore veterans, Hawthorne Heights, have announced a mini-run of Canadian tour dates in Hawthorne-Heightswhich the band will acoustically perform its debut album, The Silence in Black and White, in its entirety.

“We have a lot of great memories with our wonderful Canadian fans, and we would love to make some more,” reads a posting on the Hawthorne Heights Facebook page. “Let’s sing and scream these songs with passion and energy. Be loud.”

Released in 2004 through Victory Records, The Silence in Black and White, spawned the popular singles “Niki FM” and “Ohio is for Lovers.” It has since sold nearly a million copies.

Last year to celebrate the album’s 10-year anniversary, Hawthorne Heights released a special edition acoustic version of it.

Supporting acts for this tour include Courage My Love, Mark Rose, Shane Henderson (from Valencia), and Dayseeker. Tickets and VIP packages for the Canadian shows are available now.
