Huh? Miley Cyrus Inducting Joan Jett into Rock Hall

If Fall Out Boy inducting Green Day into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year isn’t weird joan-jett-miley-cyrusenough, how about the notion of Miley Cyrus inducting Joan Jett and The Blackhearts? Well friends, it is true.

The wrecking ball-wrangling, tongue-waving, Robin Thicke-grinding retired child star will join the ranks of Patti Smith, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney and John Mayer as inductors during the April 18 ceremony on April 18 at Cleveland’s Public Hall.

While the involvement of Cyrus may make you cringe, this won’t be the first time she has shared a stage with Jett. Years ago, Cyrus and Jett performed together on Oprah of all things.

In case you can’t get into the ceremony, HBO will broadcast the 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on May 30.
