Listen to “Locked Away,” a Glorious, Yet Previously Unreleased Ryan Adams Song

On May 6, Ryan Adams will release a deluxe reissue of his stunning debut solo album, Heartbreaker. Originally released in 2000, this offering features a number of impressive jams including “Oh My Sweet Carolina” and “Come Pick Me Up.”

The Heartbreaker reissue includes 35 tracks, including remasters, demos, previously unreleased outtakes and a concert film of a 2000 Adams performance held at The Mercury Lounge in New York. You can pre-order the reissue now.

One of the outtakes being made available is “Locked Away,” a tune that’s so impressive, it’s stunning that it took until 2016 for it to see the light of day.
