Riff Clip: The New Pornographers Tell Us About “Brill Bruisers”
Last week, at the Last Gang Records headquarters in Toronto, ON, A.C. Newman and Kathryn Calder of The New Pornographers spent the day fielding questions from the press regarding their forthcoming album, Brill Bruisers (due August 26).
During Riffyou.com‘s time with Newman and Calder, we were able to get both on camera to talk about the album’s title track, and to seek out an explanation for what a ‘Brill Bruiser’ actually is. Here’s what they had to say:
