Veruca Salt Confirm New Album – Here’s Two New Tracks!

Share

Veruca Salt may have reunited its original lineup (Nina Gordon, Louise Post, Steve Lack and Jim Shapiro) last year for a series of tour dates, but now we finally have new music from the strong ’90s Chicago rock collective that first brought us “Seether” and “Volcano Girls.”

Today, Veruca Salt has confirmed that its new album, Ghost Notes, will be released on July 10 through El Camino Records. The album was produced by Brad Wood, the man behind the band’s debut album, American Thighs.

To help push the excitement, two new (and impressive!) Veruca Salt songs – “Laughing in the Sugar Bowl” and “The Gospel According to Saint Me” – are streaming on Spotify. Both have tremendous bombast and freshness intact, almost making it easy to forget that this isn’t an album coming from a reunited band.

You can listen to both songs here, then view the full tracklisting and Veruca Salt tour dates below.
