Watch Arcade Fire Get Artsy in “You Already Know” Video

Arcade Fire continue to prove that this Reflektor album cycle isn’t your granddaddy’s boring, paint-by-numbers album cycle.

Building upon a tour that consists of a regional cover at each date, and critical acclaim that goes as high as the heavens, the band has released a refreshingly artsy (some may argue pretentious) video for their new single, “You Already Know.”

Seemingly shot in some kind of home in the Spanish country side back in the 1970s, the footage captures the band draped in white jamming out to the song as paintings on the wall are mic’ed up and move their lips to the words. One kind of, sort of, takes a guitar in-hand.

Frontman Win Butler is the man behind the camera, and doesn’t become visible until the end thanks to a series of mirrors show…wait for it…his reflection.

Anyways, Riffyou.com dug it and thought you might as well. Have a look and let us know:
