Watch Foo Fighters Cover the Nirvana Cover of “Molly’s Lips”

In 1991, Nirvana and The Fluid released a split vinyl single through Sub-Pop Records, which featured Nirvana covering “Molly’s Lips” by The Vaselines. Last night, that song was revisited by Foo Fighters during a gig in The Vaselines’ home country of Scotland.

After Dave Grohl introduced the crowd to fellow, former Nirvana member Pat Smear, the guitarist began riffing “Molly’s Lips,” before the rest of the band got in on the action. Of course, a fan shot some footage of the occasion:
