WayHome Festival Unveils Daily Schedule
Now that we are less than a month away from the first edition of WayHome Music & Arts Festival in Oro-Medonte, Ontario (near Barrie, North of Toronto), it’s great to know where and when this year’s performers will be setting up shop.
Night one (Friday, July 24) will be headlined by a two-hour set from Neil Young + Promise of the Real that’ll run from 9:30pm to 11:30pm. However, the music won’t end there as sets from the likes of Fucked Up, Girl Talk and Future Islands will carry into the early morning hours of Saturday.
Once everyone awakes for Saturday, afternoon gigs will be played by Broncho, Alvvays and Manchester Orchestra. The main stage will finish off by 10:45pm, following sets by Run the Jewels, Modest Mouse and Kendrick Lamar.
Canadian indie rock legends, Sloan, will help open the Sunday festivities at WayHome with a 1:30pm stage time, while Brandon Flowers, St. Vincent and July Talk will lead into the festival’s final performer, Sam Smith.
