Weezer Frontman Receives Incubus Fan Mail

Recently, Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo appeared on Larry King Now to touch on a variety of matters, one of which is the fact that he has received some rather odd fan mail over the years.

During their conversation, Cuomo informed King that he’s on more than one occasion received fan mail directed toward Incubus vocalist Brandon Boyd.

“It’s happened twice where I’ve got packages at my house – my address isn’t listed – but I get these elaborate fan packages. Only, they’re not for me, they’re for the singer of Incubus, Brandon Boyd,” offered Cuomo. “The bizarre this is that it’s happened at two different houses I’ve lived in over the years.”

King responded: “I would call that a crazy fan encounter. Did you ever follow-up to try to find out who sent it?”

“No,” replied Cuomo. “I can see the return address, but I didn’t even forward [them] to Brandon. I should though.”

Cuomo has been a regular chatterbox of late. Late last year during a Facebook fan Q&A initiative, he told everyone what his favourite Weezer song is, as well as which song of his he wishes would’ve been more successful.
