Don’t Bring “weird weapons” to Foo Fighters 4th of July Gig

Even though Dave Grohl is still on the mend from a busted up leg, the Foo Fighters North American foo-fighters-blacktour will go ahead, including what is shaping up to be an epic 20th anniversary show on July 4 in Washington.

While fans inside RFK Stadium will be treated to performances from the likes of Foo Fighters, Buddy Guy, Gary Clark Jr., Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, LL Cool J and more, first they’ll have to actually get inside.

Today, a list of items fans can’t bring into the show has emerged. While there is the standard “no professional audio or video” equipment rule and the request not to carry in an umbrella of any size, some more humorous prohibited items have made the list. Most notably, fans are not allowed to bring in “weird weapons that may have been used on the show Vikings.” Of course, run-of-the-mill weapons and missiles are also banned from the premises. That’s generally a smart move.

Oh and if you’re going to the show, also be sure to leave your uncured meats and “copies of Boy’s Life Magazine” at home. Those will be frowned upon as well.

…And don’t forget to have fun!
