Black Sabbath Crossing Canada in 2014

Black SabbathVeteran metal Gods Black Sabbath are returning to Canada in 2014 to scare children and give those in their sixties an excuse to strap on a Paranoid t-shirt and feel like a head-banging, angst ridden youngster once again.

Ozzy Osbourne, along with fellow original members Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler will continue the promotion of their first-ever #1 album, 13, by embarking on a tour that’ll start and end in the U.S. of A, but in between be filled with a whopping 10 Canadian stops.

This tour announcement is well-timed, considering that the band is poised to release the Black Sabbath: Live…Gathered in Their Masses DVD on November 26. Featuring hits from the band’s past, as well as selections from 13, fans will get to see the guys tear it up during a recent tour stop in Melbourne, Australia.

Pre-orders are being accepted now and purchasers can either grab the standalone DVD or Blu-ray; combo packs that come with a CD; or a deluxe box set edition that comes with the audio and video goodness, as well as items like a poster, signed set list, photo booklet, guitar picks, and more.

However, if you’d rather see Black Sabbath live and in action, here’s where you can do that:
