Arcade Fire Taking Reflektor Through North America

arcade-fire-reflektor-bandMontreal’s Arcade Fire will take their critically acclaimed Reflektor album across North America next year. The collective will kick off the festivities on March 6 at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, KY, and finish things off with a hometown gig on August 30 at Parc Jean-Drapeau.

Thus far Arcade Fire has showcased its much more experimental and danceable Reflektor on the late night TV circuit, as well as important markets like Montreal, Brooklyn and Los Angeles. Considering the outlandish wardrobe and production-related eye candy that we’ve already been treated to, it’s safe to say that this tour will bring a lot of interested eyes to it.

Reflektor debuted at the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, as 140,000 copies were sold in the U.S. This was the band’s second album to accomplish such a feat, following in the footsteps of the 2009 Grammy Award winner for album of the year, The Suburbs.

Tickets for the shows will go on sale November 22.
