Gob to Criss-Cross Canada Beginning in October
Gob, who will release, Apt. 13 (their first album in seven years) on August 26 through New Damage Records, have announced a month-long 
cross-Canada tour.
The pop-punk quartet will hit the road beginning October 8 in Kamloops, BC, before heading east. The fellas – Tom Thacker (vocals, guitar), Theo Goutzinakis (vocals, guitar), Gabe Mantle (drums) and bassist Steven Fairweather (bass) – will then roll back west en route to the final tour date in Victoria, BC, on November 8.
Seaway will join Gob on the majority of these dates.
“I listened to [Apt. 13] one last time before we had it mastered, and I was super-stoked on the songs,” reflected frontman Thacker in a June interview with Riffyou.com. “It’s really hard to love what you do when you’re involved in every little aspect of it…because everything can change or be better. With every piece of art, it’s never complete.”
Before the big tour, Gob will host an album release party on August 22 at the Imperial Ballroom in Vancouver, BC, and take part in Alberta’s Beaverfest on August 30.
