Noel Gallagher Thinks Brother Liam Should Go Solo

After the messy disbanding of Oasis back in 2009, the last thing you’d expect to hear from Noel Gallagher is his desire to see Liam-Gallagherbrother Liam launch a solo career. Despite the very public differences the two have had over the years, it appears as if Noel now wants the best for his younger sibling.

In October, Liam surprisingly pulled the plug on his post-Oasis endeavour, Beady Eye, after just two albums.

“I’m amazed Liam has chucked it in, but he won’t stay out of the limelight for long,” explained Noel in an interview with Q. “I think Liam should make a solo record – put his balls on the line, put his name up in lights and go for it.”

It’s also been reported by NME that the Gallagher brothers are on speaking terms again.

Meanwhile, Noel is set to release his second solo album under the moniker of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, on March 2.
