Riff Clip: Happy Holidays from RiffYou & The Trews!

Earlier this December, Riffyou.com had the opportunity to attend the rehearsals of the annual Andy Kim Christmas Show at the Virgin Mobile Mod Club in Toronto, ON. While it’s always intriguing to watch musicians from different projects interact and jam with each other, the best part of instances such as this one is watching the soundchecks.

On this day, one of the highlights of the pre-show rehearsal was watching The Trews perform their version of The Pretenders’ Christmas song, “2000 Miles.” Vocalist Colin MacDonald flawlessly belts out Chrissie Hynde’s parts, while the band prolifically rolls through the tune.
