As much as it is very easy to blame the Internet for making Kanye West too much of our day-to-day life, there are moments where it does something really well; something that gives you a renewed appreciation for humanity; something that makes you giggle like a child receiving lots of chocolate at Easter.
Pointed out yesterday by AUX, the web address Loser.com now automatically redirects people to the Kanye West Wikipedia page. It remains unclear who the devilishly clever soul behind this episode of online greatness is, but he has certainly just dropped the mic.
This, friends, is artistry at its finest. And somewhere, Beck is sitting with his Album of the Year Grammy Award in one hand, with a West voodoo doll in the other, laughing and chillin’ like a villain.
Shortly after West made a spectacle of himself following Beck’s Grammy win, Win Butler of Arcade Fire (under the moniker of dj-windows98 mashed up “Jesus Walks” with “Loser,” to create the admirable “Jesus Walks, Loser.”
