As heavy Toronto act, Cancer Bats, prepare to unleash their fifth album Searching for Zero on March 10 through New Damage Records, the band has released part one of their four-part online documentary, The Making of Searching for Zero.
Filmed by Vince Edwards of Metal Blade Records, the series looks into the day-to-day, behind the scenes work that went into the construction of the album. Cancer Bats members – Scott Middleton (guitar), Liam Cormier (vocals), Mike Peters (drums), and Jaye R. Schwarzer (bass) – are interviewed throughout. You can watch the introductory episode below.
In other news, the band has announced that Indian Handcrafts, Dead Tired, as well as Exalt will open the Searching for Zero album release show on March 12 at The Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto. You can see the rest of the Cancer Bats tour dates after the video.
