Watch Sum 41 Make Live Return at APMAs

Earlier this month, Sum 41 confirmed that it was working on a new album. It would be the band’s first since frontman Deryck Whibley’s near-death experience and 2011’s Screaming Bloody Murder.

Last night, Sum 41 made its live return in a big way at the Alternative Press Music Awards (APMAs.) During its more than eight-minute performance, the band ripped through hits like “Still Waiting,” “In Too Deep,” “Fat Lip,” and “What We’re All About.”

What made this appearance especially memorable was when Sum 41 welcomed original guitarist, Dave “Brownsound” Baksh to the stage for most of the set (he departed the band in 2006.) That, and DMC from legendary hip-hop crew, RUN-DMC joined Sum 41 for a rendition of “King of Rock.”
