Our Lady Peace to Email Rare Tracks to Fans

Share

As Our Lady Peace continue work on their forthcoming album, they have launched a new fan-friendly campaign in which fans OLP-Vaultwill be privy to B-sides and unreleased tracks, for free.

Fans are encouraged to visit the band’s official website and sign up for the Transparent Humans club. Once a name and email address is provided, the individual will be put on a mailing list designed to send Our Lady Peace rarities directly to the registered inbox. The first, yet to be disclosed track, will be sent out on November 27.

In July, Riffyou.com had a very candid conversation with Raine Maida of Our Lady Peace, where he discussed the future of his band, the departure of long-time drummer Jeremy Taggart, as well as his excitement for the music that OLP is in the midst of creating.

“The music’s amazing,” said Maida. “There are three songs, [“Won’t Turn Back”] included, that are three of my favourite OLP songs that we’ve recorded in a long time. I don’t know how it happened, but the reaction’s been amazing. Something like that was happening around Clumsy too. We had that song and thought we’d finished the record, but then all of a sudden I wrote ‘4 A.M.’ and ‘Superman’s Dead’ in two days. Then we thought, ‘wow, this is a record now!’ I feel like we’re at that place now.”
