Riff Clip: The Glorious Sons Talk JUNO Award Nod

Share

Earlier this week at the 2015 JUNO Award nominees announcement, Kingston rock n’ roll quintet, The Glorious Sons, received recognition for their latest album The Union.

However, to take home the prize of Rock Album of the Year, the band – Brett and Jay Emmons, Andrew Young, Adam Paquette, and Chris Huot – will have to beat out some heavy competition in the form of Big Wreck (for Ghosts), Arkells (for High Noon), Sam Roberts Band (for Lo-Fantasy), and Your Favourite Enemies (for Between Illness and Migration).

After receiving word that they are up for a trophy, Riffyou.com spent a few minutes with The Glorious Sons to discuss the possibility of winning, as well as if they’re more excited for the ceremony itself, or the free booze that’ll come along with it.
