Watch Arkells Video for “Hey Kids!” and Get Charitable

Okay, so Arkells frontman Max Kerman won’t be joining One Direction after all, but his band still knows how to make the kids happy: just feature them in a music video, of course.

For the band’s latest single, “Hey Kids!”, Arkells perform within a darkened gymnasium as kids goof around during photo day and get crazy in the classroom. It doesn’t appear as if any teachers were harmed in the making of this video.

If you like the song enough to download it, do note that all proceeds will go toward Partners in Health Canada, a “a non-profit organization relentlessly committed to global health equity.”

“Poverty and inequality are often at the root of illness, so we work to address them,” reads a description on the official Partners in Health Canada Facebook page. “Individuals and communities know their stories and solutions best, so we act only after listening to them and learning from them.”

Says Kerman: “[Hey Kids!] might be our favourite video yet. If you’ve got a buck to spare and dig the tune, know that all of the proceeds are going to a good place.”
