The second edition of Brantford, Ontario’s WTFest has confirmed that rockers Billy Talent, Monster Truck and Saint Asonia will serve as festival headliners.

The Saturday, June 25 show at Lion’s Park will also include a main stage appearance by The Standstills, as well as an up and coming artist stage that’ll be highlighted by The Ascot Royals.

General admission tickets for the day are $39.99 ($49.99 after April 1) while VIP packages go for $99.99. A free show will be held on June 24 at Harmony Square in downtown Brantford. A headliner for that event is to be announced.

“We had an amazing fan reaction last year when we launched WTFest in Brantford. We continuously asked the fans who they would want to see this year, and our two most requested bands were Billy Talent and Monster Truck,” says WTFest President Jamie Stephens. “We heard loud and clear from fans that they wanted a big rock show, so we brought in Billy Talent, Monster Truck and Saint Asonia to give them the biggest rock show in southern Ontario this summer.”

In 2015, WTFest featured sets from Big Wreck, Hedley, The Trews, USS, I Mother Earth, Dear Rouge and more.

Last week, Billy Talent drummer Aaron Solowoniuk announced that he is taking a hiatus from the band due to health issues.
