In December, further details emerged about Home Street Home, a musical conceptualized by NOFX and Fat Wreck Chords leader Fat Mike Burkett, as well as girlfriend Soma Snakeoil, and Tony Award Winner Jeff Marx.

Now the production’s first track, “Seeping Beauty,” has emerged and can be listened to below. Don’t let the initial tickling of the ivories fool you, because this song eventually shows its balls.

Home Street Home is a story about a 16-year-old girl who leaves home, but finds a new family in the form of fellow homeless teens.

The soundtrack (which will feature: Frank Turner, Make Skiba (Alkaline Trio), the late Tony Sly, the Descendents, Lagwagon, Mad Caddies, Real McKenzies, Old Man Markley, as well as Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, and NOFX) will be released on February 10. It is still unclear as to when the show will hit the stage. But, that is in the works.

“Ever since I saw Rocky Horror [Picture Show] when I was 8, I’ve been intrigued by musicals,” said Burkett in a statement. “Well, not all musicals, just the ones that break the mold. Luckily, I found two people, Jeff Marx and Soma Snakeoil, that love breaking things as much as I do. This is fucking fun!”
