CMW 2014: Indie Awards Winners Crowned in Toronto

Share

Last night at the Kool Haus in Toronto, ON, Canadian Music Week closed off in style with the 2014 SiriusXM Indie Awards. During the ceremony, 37 categories were recognized, as the likes of Ponctuation, The Strumbellas, Mounties, Born Ruffians, Hollerado, Hidden Cameras, and the much-hyped Swedish outfit Little Dragon took to the stage for abbreviated, yet amazingly appreciated sets.

Arcade Fire and City and Colour emerged as the big Canadian winners, with both collectives taking home three awards. Internationally, Arctic Monkeys were the recipients of a pair of prizes.
